According to a report by Fabrice Hawkins, Galatasaray have reached a total agreement with Napoli for Victor Osimhen (25). The Turkish giants will sign Osimhen on a season-long loan without the option to make the deal permanent.
Osimhen will also sign a year-long contract extension with Napoli to help facilitate his move away from the club for the season. The Nigerian international’s relationship with the Serie A side looked as if it had completely broken down at the end of the transfer window on Friday.
Osimhen announced that he would not play again for the club, while Napoli did not register their player giving his number #9 instead to Romelu Lukaku (31). This was after his transfer away from the club to either Chelsea FC or Al-Ahli Saudi FC collapsed.
Victor Osimhen’s deal with Al-Ahli and Chelsea fell through
The two teams had spent the majority of the transfer window vying to secure his signature. Al-Ahli reportedly had managed to reach an agreement with Osimhen but they struggled to negotiate a contract with the striker, while Chelsea’s last offer for the striker still fell short of his expectations.
