Florian Neuhaus has been heavily linked with a move away from Borussia Mönchengladbach this month.
But the midfielder’s agent, Christian Nerlinger, has now effectively ended speculation that his client could be on the move before the transfer window closes.
“There were several enquiries about Florian Neuhaus in January. We always spoke openly and fairly with Borussia Mönchengladbach,” Nerlinger told Sky Deutschland.
“Florian is sure that he will not leave the club. He made a clear commitment to Borussia Mönchengladbach when he signed his contract in the summer and has now emphatically reaffirmed this”.
Neuhaus, 26, signed a long-term contract until 2027 last summer. However, he hasn’t played as much as he would like this season, leading to speculation about his future.
