Italian report claims that AC Milan are stepping up their pursuit of Schalke’s Assan Ouedraogo.
AC Milan are reportedly intensifying their efforts to sign highly-rated Schalke 04 youngster Assan Ouedraogo.
According to Calciomercato, the Rossoneri are in regular contact with Ouedraogo’s representatives, with the Italian club’s chief scout Geoffrey Moncada leading the negotiations.
Moncada was also the man in charge for the Italians when Milan signed Malick Thiaw from Schalke 04 in 2022.
Milan are far from the only club interested in the 17-year-old, however, with Napoli, Bayern Munich, RB Leipzig, Eintracht Frankfurt and Bayer Leverkusen also among those who have been linked with him.
Ouédraogo reportedly has a release clause of up to 15 million euros that can be activated in the summer.
The young central midfielder has scored one goal and provided two assists in 13 appearances for the 2. Bundesliga side this season.
