AC Milan have made initial contact Andrea Cambiaso’s agent as they explore a potential summer move, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Rossoneri are looking to bring in a deputy to Theo Hernandez as part of their summer overhaul.
Cambiaso’s profile has caught Milan’s attention, but Juventus want €25 million for him.
The 23-year-old moved to Turin from Genoa last summer but was subsequently loaned to Bologna.
The Italian youngster enjoyed an impressive campaign, becoming a prominent player in Thiago Motta’s side by showcasing his versatility to play in either full-back role.
Tottenham Hotspur are also monitoring Cambiaso, but Juve may give him a substantial role in the upcoming season, given the likely departure of Alex Sandro.
Luca Pellegrini is also on Milan’s wishlist, with the Italian full-back recently returning to Juve after a short loan stint at Lazio.
The Biancocelesti are locked in talks with the Old Lady over Pellegrini’s permanent transfer, but there haven’t been any positive developments.
It has opened the door for Milan, who have reportedly contacted the 24-year-old’s agent Enzo Raiola – the cousin of the late Mino Raiola.
Milan’s summer rebuild is in full swing, with the club completing the signings of Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Luka Romero, Marco Sportiello and Christian Pulisic.
Signing a striker is also on Milan’s to-do list, with Porto’s Mehdi Taremi a leading target.
