Per Florian Plettenberg of Sky, Die Fuggerstädter are trying to sign both free-agent midfielder Warren Bondo and FC Porto forward Toni Martínez.

Augsburg aren’t quite finished with their summer window as they are planning to bring in a couple fresh faces. The club are trying to sign 18-year-old Warren Bondo, a flexible midfielder who can be brought in free of charge. The youngster last played for French side AS Nancy before failing to sign a contract extension. Bondo has already visited Augsburg’s camp for talks in the last week.
Center-forward Toni Martínez is also high on their list. Even with the recent signing of Ermedin Demirović from Freiburg, Augsburg don’t seem content with their attacking options. They’ve made an offer to FC Porto for a loan with an option to buy in the range of at least a €10 million for the 25-year-old. Martínez has fallen out of favor in Portugal and would reportedly approve a move.
Augsburg have been relatively quiet in the summer market, but are expected to ramp up business in the coming days.
