VfL Bochum have announced the signing of Ukrainian centre-back Ivan Ordets on a contract until 2023.
As a result of a special rule put in place by FIFA due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Ordets’ deal with Dinamo Moscow has been suspended until 2023, allowing him to join Bochum.
Bochum managing director for sport Sebastian Schindzielorz stated:
“Ivan Ordets is tall, physically strong and a robust in duels, whether in the air or on the ground. We will introduce him to the team as quickly as possible, and the training camp offers the ideal setting for this.”
