Julian Nagelsmann has announced the Germany squad for their international friendlies against Turkey and Austria this month.
Once again, Nagelsmann has provided newcomers with a chance to shine with RB Leipzig goalkeeper Janis Blaswich earning his first ever call up to the national team. The same can be said for Marvin Ducksch who will be reunited with his former Werder Bremen strike partner Niclas Füllkrug.
Serge Gnabry, Benjamin Henrichs and Felix Nmecha all receive re-calls to the squad, while the notably omissions are Manuel Neuer who is continuing to his recovery and gaining match fitness with Bayern Munich. While Jamal Musiala will miss out with a hamstring injury suffered against Galatasaray.
