Serie A giants Lazio are close to sealing a move for former Arsenal star and current Marseille midfielder Matteo Guendouzi.
The France international has been heavily linked with a move to the Roman club in recent weeks and Gianluca di Marzio has now reported that a move for the player is very close for the Biancocelesti.
There is an agreement in place between the two clubs after they spoke for multiple days, with a fee of an initial €13 million and bonuses of €5 million agreed. The bonuses were a key part in the sealing the deal, as talks over them were ongoing in the last few days.
The personal terms are yet to be fully fixed and once the details of those will be agreed with the midfielder’s agents, Guendouzi will travel to Rome to undergo a medical with Maurizio Sarri’s side. Lazio have missed out on several players this summer but it seems as if there is consensus over a move for the Frenchamn.
