FC Köln have officially confirmed a new deal for Timo Hübers.

Timo Hübers has signed a contract extension with 1. FC Köln, the Bundesliga club confirmed today.
The 26-year-old centre-back’s new deal runs until 2026.
“In his time at FC, Timo have developed well and in the past 18 months he has been a key figure as well as a stabilising factor and important communicator in our defence,” said FC Köln managing director Christian Keller.
“We are certain that Timo will be able to bring his best performances even more consistently in the future. We are putting are trust in him and, at the same time, expect him to take on more responsibility on and off the pitch.”
Timo Hübers commented:
“For me, the combination of emotional club and a great city fit together. I feel very at home at FC and want to continue the path that we’ve been on together over the past two seasons. To make strikes on and off the pitch and play attractive football in front of our fans.”
