Roma have been pursuing Rasmus Kristensen for a while and will soon make new contact with him in an effort to agree a deal, as reported by Gianluca di Marzio. Roma are asking for a potential loan deal if a permanent transfer cannot be agreed.
Kristensen has only been at Leeds for a year after moving from Salzburg for €15 million last summer. The Dane started 21 Premier League games as the English club were unfortunately relegated. He was one of the better performers in a team that conceded an astounding 78 goals.
Jose Mourinho is pushing for more defensive reinforcements, after Roma have already signed Evan N’Dicka and Houssem Aouar in what has been a brilliant start to the transfer window.
Kristensen is 25 years old and has good versatility. He can slot in either as a centre back or a right back, which will be useful for Roma as right back is an area where they have struggled for the past two years.
