Bayern Munich host PSG in the Champions League Round of 16 second-leg on Wednesday night as they look to secure a place in the next round. The Bundesliga leaders hold a 1-0 advantage after Kingsley Coman’s goal at the Parc de Princes.
Julian Nagelsmann will be without Benjamin Pavard after he was sent off for a second-bookable offence in the reverse fixture. We’re also expected Bayern to line-up in what is seemingly their now preferred 3-4-3.
To counter the threat of Kylian Mbappé, Nagelsmann is likely to call upon Josip Stanišić after João Cancelo is seemingly already out of favour. That would mean Coman would likely start in a wing-back role again, something that the Frenchman is becoming accustomed too.
In attack, expect Thomas Müller, Jamal Musiala and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting all to start, with Serge Gnabry and Leroy Sané remaining excellent options off the bench.
PSG have their own injury concerns with Neymar out for the remainder of the season.
Predicted Bayern Munich XI vs PSG
Yann Sommer – Josip Stanišić, Dayot Upamecano, Matthijs de Ligt – Kingsley Coman, Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, Alphonso Davies – Thomas Müller, Jamal Musiala – Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.
