Borussia Dortmund newcomer Julian Ryerson has hit the ground running following his January move from Union Berlin.
At the press conference ahead of Dortmund’s last-16 clash with Chelsea, Ryerson enthused:
“The first weeks were very easy, the team gave me a very warm welcome. I’m just happy to be here.”
When the 25-year-old full-back was informed that Dortmund were interested, he didn’t have to think much about whether he wanted to move to Signal Iduna Park.
“When I heard about it, I really wanted to come here,” he emphasized.
