Sport1 are reporting that Borussia Dortmund have an agreement in principle for Julien Duranville of Anderlecht in Belgium.
The transfer fee for the left-back is set to be €8.5 million with €3 million in bonuses and he will join in this transfer window as Sebastian Kehl has pushed for the signing this winter. The contract will last until 2027 and the 16-year-old is set for a medical on Thursday.
Duranville has played 10 times for Anderlecht this season scoring once in that time. He will likely be seen as the long-term solution at left-back for Dortmund as Raphaël Guerreiro looks set to leave Dortmund, while they are also in the race for Ramy Bensebaini of Borussia Mönchengladbach.
This will be Dortmund’s second signing of the window after Julian Ryerson joined Dortmund from Union Berlin earlier on in the window.
Dortmund have clearly started to focus on their problem areas which has been the full-back positions for a while now. They are also in contention for Ivan Fresneda of Real Valladolid who can play as a right-back.
