Roma boss Jose Mourinho has rejected a chance to manage the Brazilian national team.
Mourinho has been linked with both Brazil and Portugal, with Fernando Santos’ former side having now appointed Roberto Martinez as their new boss. The Brazil role remains vacant, as things stand.
Sky Italia have reported about the situation of the Roma boss, whose side recently grabbed a 2-2 draw against Milan by scoring two late goals. It is reported that Mourinho has not responded in any way to Brazil’s approach despite constant calls and approaches. Brazilian Ronaldo has also spoken to Mourinho, who wants to continue managing the Giallorossi. He has not opened up to the possibility of managing the Selecao.
Mourinho was linked with Portugal, who wanted him to hold a dual role while also managing Roma. Reports had stated that the ex-Tottenham boss was committed to Roma and didn’t want to leave the club from the Italian outfit and didn’t want to play a dual role.
