Manuel Neuer and Thomas Müller will not be available for Bayern München’s upcoming Bundesliga match against Hoffenheim.
“‘Manu’ [Neuer] won’t play tomorrow as he’s still feeling some pain. He’s also likely to miss the game against Barcelona. We’re aiming for him to return against Mainz,” said Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann at a press conference today.

“Something can happen if he comes back too early, and we want to hinder that,” added the Bayern coach.

“Thomas [Müller] will miss out too. He got a stomachache overnight. He should be fine by tomorrow, but he will stay at home. He’s a bit angry. First, he was out with corona, then an injury, and now a stomachache, but I think he will be back for the Champions League game.”

Bayern will also have to manage without Lucas Hernandez (groin), Leroy Sané (thigh) and Bouna Sarr (patella tendon).
