Florian Wirtz to Liverpool is a done deal, reports Kicker.
The Bayer Leverkusen man will soon officially put pen to paper and join the Premier League champions for an overall package worth €150m.
Once complete, the transfer will be the most expensive in both Bundesliga and Premier League history. However, it’s also key to remember that the €150m fee is subject to sporting success with various add-on clauses.
Wirtz is currently on vacation following international duty with Germany in the Nations League.
All documents are currently being finalised and signed by both parties. Once everything is official, Wirtz will make his way to Liverpool for his medical check and then the official announcement.
The playmaker is expected to sign a contract until 2030.
Wirtz scored 10 goals and provided 13 assists in 31 Bundesliga games for Bayer Leverkusen last season, and 31 goal contributions (16 goals and 15 assists) in 45 games across all competitions.
