Chelsea will opt against signing Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho permanently following his loan spell, according to The Guardian.
There are indications Chelsea won’t honour their £25 million obligation to turn his loan from Man United into a permanent deal.
The Blues will pay a £5 million penalty for the winger, who came off the bench to secure the Europa Conference League title with an excellent strike.
The news leaves Sancho in limbo about his future. It remains unclear where he will be plying his trade next season, but he confirmed a return to Man United is not an option.
So what next for the England international? Read on as we look at three clubs that could sign Sancho from Man Utd this summer.
Bayer Leverkusen
Bayer Leverkusen are reportedly eyeing Sancho as a potential summer signing.
With Florian Wirtz likely on his way to Liverpool in a high-profile move, Leverkusen are in the market for an attacking replacement. Sancho fits the bill.
The winger is no stranger to the Bundesliga, having lit it up during his time at Borussia Dortmund with 40 goals and 54 assists in 118 appearances.
A return to Germany could be what he needs to rediscover his best form.
Fenerbahce
Turkish giants Fenerbahce are also in the running. Per reports from Turkiye, Jose Mourinho has given the green light for a move to bring Sancho to Istanbul.
Fenerbahce are looking to bolster their squad after failing to dethrone Galatasaray in the Super Lig. Mourinho is expected to lead a busy summer overhaul, and Sancho is high on his wishlist.

However, the key question is whether Sancho would consider a move outside Europe’s top five leagues.
RB Leipzig
RB Leipzig could be another viable destination. With Xavi Simons expected to depart, Leipzig are seeking a replacement to keep their attack ticking.
Sancho’s creativity and experience in the Bundesliga make him a natural fit.
Leipzig missed out on Champions League football and need reinforcements to bounce back. Sancho could be a statement signing.
