The numbers mentioned will merely be base salaries, with the minimum base salary of a WWE Superstar already being revealed. Rhea Ripley

The Eradicator

The only female WWE Superstar to be featured on the list is Australia’s own Rhea Ripley. The 28-year-old has been a mainstay of WWE programming for years, having completed the trifecta of having won a World Championship in NXT UK, NXT, and on the main roster.

She is the seventh Triple Crown female champion and fifth female Grand Slam champion, with her popularity only rising by the week. A constant in the main event scene, Ripley is one of the few current female superstars to have transcended the business and reached mainstream popularity, so it is no surprise to see her earning as much as she does.

The first, but not last, former member of The Bloodline to be featured on this list is WWE’s infamous Yeet-er, Jey Uso. A man whose career has gone from strength to strength in recent years, Jey has also been recognised as being half of one of the best TV tag teams of all time, but his work with Sami Zayn in The Bloodline and his Main Event Jey work has painted him in a new light.

Having recently defeated Gunther on the Grandest Stage of them All to become World Heavyweight Champion, Jey will be hoping he can use this as leverage for a pay rise during his next contract negotiations.

The current leader of Judgement Day, albeit that is up for debate, Finn Balor, has been one of the biggest winners from the Triple H era of WWE, with the Irish-born Superstar having always been a favourite of the King of Kings following their work in the black and gold NXT days.

Having had a tumultuous main-roster career, from stop-start pushes to injuries, Balor has finally found something that has cemented himself as a main event-level act, something that should have been the case years ago. Although his career nowadays seems to be putting people over, and being the bridesmaid and never the braid, his yearly salary of an estimated $7 million will keep him happy.

Another man who finds himself on the $7 million pay grade, Kevin Owens, has had a legendary career. Able to perform effectively as a face or a heel, he can make you feel on both sides of the spectrum and is a guarantee to steal the show.

With two highly-acclaimed WrestleMania main events to his name, the Canadian proved he can do it all, with his classic with Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania 38 receiving just as much praise as his match against The Usos with Sami Zayn at WrestleMania 39 – a bout that is regarded as one of the best in WWE history. Currently, on the sidelines with a worrying neck injury, the WWE Universe hope they can see him perform in the squared circle once again once he has healed.

The man responsible for one of the greatest returns in WWE history is the Best in the World, CM Punk. One of the most controversial wrestlers in modern history, you either hate him or love him, but whatever the case may be, he never fails to make people feel some sort of emotion.

Having had an injury-ridden start to his WWE career, his work with Drew McIntyre is some of the best of his career, and the follow-up storyline with Seth Rollins was just as good. Having finally achieved his goal of main eventing WrestleMania, it remains to be seen if the Chicago-born star can find the time for one last run as World Champion.

From one-half of WWE’s greatest modern feuds to the other half, Drew McIntyre is performing at a motivated level that we haven’t seen from him ever. Having initially been the Chosen One, his main roster career petered out, and he was released. Now a cornerstone of the main event scene, the Scottish Psychopath has been at the forefront of WWE’s recent change in momentum, establishing himself as a reliable act who can perform at any level on the card. Deserving of another World Championship run soon, he is just as deserving of the $8 million a year he is reportedly earning.

One-third of one of WWE’s greatest-ever factions, The Shield, Seth Rollins has never looked back following that infamous heel turn against his stablemates. Having essentially stayed in the main event scene since he has established himself as a first-ballot future WWE Hall of Famer.

With numerous title runs in that time, some good, some bad, he may be slowing down now, but he can still go in the ring and is a reliable act that will draw viewers and make a feud mean something. Currently standing side-by-side with Bron Breakker and Paul Heyman, it appears the best work of his career could be around the corner.

He has had some of the greatest WWE feuds ever, with his work with Mick Foley, Edge, John Cena, and Seth Rollins all being standouts in a career that is guaranteed a Hall of Fame ring.

Wanting to wrestle until the wheels fall off, Orton has promised the WWE Universe he will continue wrestling and doesn’t plan on taking the road often travelled, which is a career in Hollywood – something that is understandable considering how much money Orton is making in the WWE.

Cody Rhodes’ WWE career is remarkable. Having left the company in 2016 to bet on himself, his consequent return in 2022 has been nothing short of an overwhelming success. Having recently dropped his Undisputed WWE Championship to John Cena at WrestleMania 41, who in turn became the winningest World Champion of all time, the year that Cody spent elevating that title established him as WWE’s main star.

A focal part of Cena’s heel turn, as well as The Rocks’ transition into the Final Boss, his overwhelming popularity has surprised many as he closes in on the title of being WWE’s greatest-ever babyface, a title worthy of his reported $10 million-a-year salary.

Not only is he the Head of the Table, he is the head of this list, with Roman Reigns, unsurprisingly, being the WWE’s highest-paid performer. Similar to Seth Rollins, post-Shield, Reigns has never really left the upper card of the WWE. However, it took until 2020 for Reigns to truly click, as he became a heel, a move that would see him have a 1,316-day title reign and undoubtedly become WWE’s biggest-ever act.

Earning himself a seismic contract for his contributions has also meant that Reigns’ appearances on WWE programming are few and far between, another luxury his upper-echelon work has offered him.
