Hertha agreed personal terms with 28-year-old Racing Strasbourg forward Ludovic Ajorque back in July, but both clubs were not close to an agreement. The capital club are still not willing to pay €15 million for their favorite attacker on the market, according to Kicker.
Ajorque recorded 12 goals and 8 assists last season in Ligue 1 at Strasbourg. Hertha are trying to find a replacement at the last minute for Krzysztof Piatek, who’s just left on loan to Salernitana.
Negotiations will continue until the end of the deadline, but a transfer is unlikely unless Hertha are willing to put up some serious cash.
