Josko Gvardiol looks to be on the verge of a contract extension, according to Bild. Leipzig still haven’t accepted Chelsea’s €90 million offer for the 20-year-old, who has a contract in Germany until 2026.
It’s likely that his contract will only be extended by one year until 2027, but could include a salary increase. This extension could be similar to Christopher Nkunku’s new deal this summer, as Gvardiol does not have an exit clause included in his current contract.
