Serie A giants Napoli have restarted negotiations with Borussia Dortmund for Karim Adeyemi.
According to a report by Gianluca Di Marzio, Napoli are in contact with Dortmund’s Adeyemi to find approval to negotiate with his club over a possible transfer. The 23-year-old’s entourage had previously indicated a summer transfer and therefore sporting director Giovanni Manna will have to secure the green light from them before approaching the German outfit.
The Partenopei have faced a roadblock in their negotiations to sign Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho as there is a huge gap which remains to be bridged between The Red Devils’ asking price and what Antonio Conte’s side are offering.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s departure has brought in around €70 million to the Napoli coffers and now they are finding ways to spend it to ensure the quality of their football does not drop.
Dortmund are currently searching for a new manager after sacking Nuri Sahin and are yet to name a price on Adeyemi.
