Deniz Undav sent out a strong message after scoring in his first game back since picking up an injury in early November.
The German international currently has six goals in ten appearances in the Bundesliga for Sebastian Hoeneß’s side.
After the game, Undav said: “It is amazing to be back. I’m happy that I helped the team with a goal.”
He added: “However, I prefer to highlight our performance without the ball. The praise is also deserved for the boys in defence, and not just me.”
VfB Stuttgart have a quick turnaround in midweek with a game on Wednesday against RB Leipzig in the league.
