Manchester City target Kvhicha Kvaratskhelia could strike up a ‘very exciting’ partnership with Erling Haaland by completing a big-money switch to the Etihad Stadium from Napoli, according to transfer insider Dean Jones.
The Citizens are currently two points adrift of Premier League table-toppers Arsenal and boss Pep Guardiola may look to freshen up his squad in January.

What’s the latest news involving Kvaratskhelia?
According to The Sun, Manchester City are keeping tabs on Kvaratskhelia, who has also gained interest from Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
The report suggests the attacker has been dubbed the new Georgi Kinkladze, who made 100 appearances for the Citizens.
Kvaratskhelia only joined Napoli from Georgian side Dinamo Batumi during the summer, penning a five-year deal worth just over £25,500-per-week.
The Serie A table-toppers are keen to keep the 21-year-old on their books and it seems they are looking to put a more lucrative contract on the table.
It is understood that Napoli could insert a £65million buyout clause into a fresh agreement, but Kvaratskhelia is reluctant to sign on the dotted line as he wants to keep his options open.

What has Dean Jones said about Kvaratskhelia?
Jones believes Kvaratskhelia has made a huge impact during the early stages of his career at Napoli and, as a result, has worked his way onto Manchester City’s radar.
While the journalist feels a January move is unlikely, he believes Haaland could profit from a deal being struck.
Jones told GIVEMESPORT: “If you were to look at players that have made the biggest impact across Europe this season, he’s in the top five, there’s no doubt about it.
“As soon as you are in that top five, then clubs like Manchester City are taking you very seriously as a prospect.
“It would be very exciting to see him alongside Haaland, but it might just be a little too early.”
How has Kvaratskhelia performed so far this season?
Kvaratskhelia has already scored seven goals and registered a further eight assists in 15 appearances this season, which emphasises why he is being linked with a move to Manchester City.
The winger has been Napoli’s second best performer since the Serie A campaign got underway, earning an average match rating of 7.46, and there is no doubt that he would make the Citizens an even more formidable outfit.
Kvaratskhelia has averaged 2.6 shots per game in the Italian top flight and is also willing to contribute defensively, which would be music to Guardiola’s ears.
Haaland has already found the back of the net 22 times since joining Manchester City in the summer, but he would have even more chances coming his way if the 19-cap Georgia international joins the reigning Premier League champions.
