Chelsea star Christian Pulisic could boost his chances of securing a January move away from Stamford Bridge by ‘putting himself in the shop window’ at the World Cup, according to journalist Paul Brown.
The American joined the Blues in a £58million deal from Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund in 2019, but his spell in the capital has not gone to plan and he has made a limited number of starts this season.

What’s the latest news involving Pulisic?
According to Italian media outlet Calciomercato, Chelsea are willing to sanction Pulisic’s departure if a bid worth upwards of £30million is tabled.
The report suggests the 52-cap United States international has attracted the attention of Juventus and exploratory discussions have already been held between his representatives and the Serie A giants.
Eric Wynalda, a legend in Pulisic’s homeland, has urged the winger to join Newcastle United rather than Leeds United if he opts to remain in the Premier League but head onto pastures new.
Manchester United also considered a loan move for the 24-year-old during the summer transfer window before choosing against heading to the negotiating table.
But it seems Pulisic is not agitating to end his Chelsea career as he has revealed he is ‘extremely happy’ at Stamford Bridge.

What has Paul Brown said about Pulisic?
Brown believes Pulisic will find it difficult to become a regular starter under Chelsea head coach Graham Potter and, as a result, the World Cup could be the perfect opportunity to catch the eye of potential bidders.
The journalist feels a January exit from west London may be on the cards if the out-of-favour talisman performs well in Qatar.
Brown told GIVEMESPORT: “He might find opportunities limited at Chelsea and I think this World Cup is going to give him a chance to put himself in the shop window.
“If he does really well, you could even see him going in January, I think.”
Should Chelsea sell Pulisic in January?
Pulisic will enter the final 18 months of his £150,000-per-week contract when the transfer window reopens at the turn of the year, so it could be the ideal time for Chelsea to cash-in.
While he has registered close to 50 goal contributions during his time with the Blues, a lucrative offer would be difficult to turn down.
A potential Pulisic departure would also give Potter, who took over as Chelsea’s boss following Thomas Tuchel’s sacking last month, more cash to stamp his own mark on the squad he inherited.
