West Ham target Jesse Lingard is “leaning towards” a move to the London Stadium, according to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth.
David Moyes has been chasing the England international’s signature for the last three windows and Sheth reckons the Hammers boss is finally on the verge of getting his man.
What’s the latest news involving Lingard?
After months of speculation over where Lingard will be playing his football next season, this ongoing transfer saga finally appears to be drawing to a close.

According to The Athletic, Lingard had several offers from the Premier League and also a lucrative one from Saudi Arabia, which would have seen him earn £10m per year.
The report also states that the 29-year-old, who’s a free agent following his release from Manchester United last month, is set to make a final decision on his future by Friday.
But Sheth reckons that a return to the London Stadium, where Lingard, who’s demanding around £150,000 per-week, flourished during a loan spell in 2020-2021, is expected to be his next destination.
What did Sheth say about Lingard?
He told GIVEMESPORT: “I think this one is coming to a head now. I think Jesse Lingard has got two or three Premier League offers and he has got an offer from Saudi Arabia, but I’ve just heard in the past few minutes that the growing feeling is that he’s leaning towards West Ham United.”
How big of a coup is this for West Ham?
Above all else, Moyes will be a relieved man to finally get this one over the line, not least because talk of a return to the club has been ongoing for 18 months.
But also due to the fact Lingard had interest elsewhere in the Premier League, including Tottenham, the MLS and also the Middle East.
So, for the Hammers to come out on top and beat off competition from some of their top-flight rivals will leave Moyes an extremely satisfied man.
Lingard has come up with the goods under his guidance previously, notably scoring nine goals and assisting five more during his loan spell at West Ham, and if the Scot can once again get the best out of the attacker, then the Hammers could be in for an exciting season, especially with further arrivals set to follow.
