Yesterday Barcelona defeated Cádiz 4-0 at the Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla.
The victory saw Xavi equal the record of 17 games without a defeat away from home in La Liga. This was previously only held by Zinedine Zidane following his great start to his first time in charge of Real Madrid back in 2016.
Since his arrival at Barça, Xavi has not lost an away game in La Liga and has a record of 12 wins and five draws, including the 4-0 thrashing of Real Madrid last season. If he wins against Mallorca on the 1st of October, he will become the coach with the best away streak in the history of La Liga.
As noted by Mundo Deportivo, Xavi has only lost two away games as the coach of Barcelona. The first defeat came against Bayern Munich (3-0) in the Champions League group stage and the other against Athletic Bilbao (3-2) in the last 16 of the Copa del Rey.
