Wolves Star Signs With New Agent, Can Leave Alongside Cunha

Wolverhampton Wanderers star Rayan Ait-Nouri could be on his way out of the West Midlands in the summer transfer window, according to reports – with the wing-back on the list of ‘several’ clubs as the off-season approaches, which could see him leave alongside teammate Matheus Cunha.

Ait-Nouri joined Wolves back in the 2020 summer transfer window, and although he made fleeting appearances for the club in his first three full campaigns, the last two seasons have seen him excel in the Black Country. Last season he notched five goal contributions in all competitions, and he’s more than doubled that this campaign with 11 – leading to interest from clubs across Europe.

Manchester United have been credited with an interest in his services in the past, though their acquisition of Patrick Dorgu in January may have quashed that for now; but Liverpool and Arsenal are also thought to be keen on the French-born Algerian, leading to speculation over his future. And by signing with a new agency, Fabrizio Romano believes that he could be on the move in the coming months with his representatives looking to facilitate a deal.

The report by Romano on X (formerly Twitter) states that Ait-Nouri has signed with new agency CAA Stellar ahead of the summer transfer window.

And that could see the Algerian star leave, with Romano brandishing him as ‘one to watch’ in the summer transfer window. He could be able to leave, with ‘several’ clubs keen on landing him after notching five goals and seven assists from left wing-back at Molineux this season.

Cunha is expected to leave for his £62.5million release clause, with United thought to have agreed personal terms with the Brazilian international ahead of the activation of his clause once their sullen Premier League campaign comes to a close – and if they can secure Champions League football via winning the Europa League, it would put them in prime position to land the 13-time cap.

But his departure from Wolves is expected, and boss Vitor Pereira will desperately aim to hold onto Ait-Nouri to keep the bulk of his stars in his squad so that they can build next season.
