Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly keen to sign West Ham United striker Michail Antonio.
The 32-year-old has been a key member of the Hammers team over the years.
However, he has been facing strong competition this season following the arrival of Gianluca Scamacca in the summer.
The Jamaica international has made seven starts in the Premier League so far, with 10 appearances coming off the bench. Scamacca, meanwhile, has been in the starting XI on 11 occasions this campaign.
Antonio has a contract at the London Stadium until 2024, but he is still being linked with a move to Wolves.
According to talkSPORT, the West Midlands outfit are interested in signing the experienced forward in January.
Wolves desperately need attacking reinforcements
The Wanderers have endured a disastrous 2022-23 season so far. They have been in the relegation zone for the majority of this campaign.
Wolves have managed to score only 10 goals in the English top-flight. Ruben Neves and Daniel Podence are their joint top scorers this term, with each netting four times in the league.
Julen Lopetegui’s side must sign a goalscorer in January to boost their hopes of survival in the Premier League.
Antonio appears to be a good option for them but it looks unlikely that West Ham would be interested to sell him this month.
He has been a hugely important member of the Hammers team over the years and is currently contracted until 2024.
