
VfL Wolfsburg have given an injury update on Lovro Majer after the midfielder was forced off against Holstein Kiel.
Lovro Majer will be sidelined until further notice after sustaining an injury in Wolfsburg’s 2-0 win over Holstein Kiel at the weekend.
Die Wölfe revealed on Monday that the 26-year-old injured ligaments in his right ankle during the game.
Majer will now undergo treatment at the Croatian national team camp in close consultation with Wolfsburg.
The midfielder bagged a brace in Wolfsburg’s 2-3 defeat against Bayern Munich on Matchday 1.
He was taken off just before the break in the match against Holstein Kiel.
