L’Equipe reports that Axel Witsel has attracted interest from a host of countries, including Germany, after announcing that he is leaving Borussia Dortmund as a free agent this summer.
According to the French publication, clubs from USA, Germany, Turkey, France and Spain are showing interest in Witsel, with Marseille already said to be in talks with the 33-year-old.
The Belgian international has reportedly turned down an offer from Qatar. A return to his home country is also out of the question for him at the moment.
“I’m not going back to Belgium. Not yet,” Witsel said in May.
Witsel is expected to make up his mind by next weekend.
