Why Francesco Camarda can’t sign a pro contract with Milan yet

It was an incredible moment during the Milan-Fiorentina game yesterday when Francesco Camarda was brought on as a substitute in the 83rd minute, becoming the youngest ever player to play in the Serie A.

The Rossoneri striker is only 15 years, 8 months and 23 days old and he also broke the record of being the youngest ever Milan player, taking the record from the great Paulo Maldini.

As reported by MilanNews, Camarda cannot yet sign a professional contract due to the reason that he is a minor and not yet 16 years old. He will be able to become a professional Milan player on March 10, 2024 when he turns of age.

Until then Milan are preparing the contract and are excited by the prospect of a boy who is a Milan fan and has come through the academy representing them. Camarda hopes to break many more records and after making his debut at such a young age, it seems that he has the potential to do so.
