Whilst it seems quite certain that the Rossonerri are prepared to part-ways with former Porto coach Sergio Conceicao hence his poor run of his results since taking over from Paulo Fonseca, Calciomercato’s Daniele Longo explains why the former Milan and Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri would be the perfect candidate for the Diavolo next season as head coach.
The Milan journalist explains that the Italian tactician’s track-record in the Serie A proves his ability to build a winning mentality, having obtained one league-title and one Italian super-cup throughout his time at Milan, as well has having clinched five league titles, five Coppa Italias, and two Italian super-cups during his era with the Bianconeri.
Longo feels that there is no better candidate than Allegri as he has proven countless of times throughout his coaching career to perform under an immense amount of pressure on his shoulders and could serve as perfect link between the players and the inexperienced board.
Furthermore, Allegri could alter the emotional state of the club, as both the club and himself possess a desire of revenge and an eagerness to prove themselves following difficult periods, which would perhaps enhance the quality of the squad without having to make drastic changes in the summer market.
With Milan still sorting out the ideal profile to fit as a sporting director, only time will tell if Max Allegri will be given his desired opportunity to return with the Rossonerri.
