On-loan Barcelona star Vitor Roque will be eligible to line out against his parent club in the Copa del Rey next week.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who have confirmed that no clause was included in the deal between the La Liga rivals to prevent as much.
Frontman Roque of course linked up with Manuel Pellegrini’s Betis over the summer, as part of a complicated loan featuring a series of options and clauses.
Upon confirmation arriving that Barcelona and Betis had been drawn against one another in the Last-16 of the Copa del Rey earlier today, chatter surrounding Roque’s situation therefore quickly reemerged.
After the 19-year-old was allowed to feature against the Blaugrana in La Liga last month, though, the same will prove the case next week in the cup.
Roque, for his part, will no doubt be keen to make more of a telling impact against Hansi Flick’s side this time round.
