Sky UK reports that West Ham United – after seeing a €20 million offer for Niclas Füllkrug rejected – are continuing to negotiate with Borussia Dortmund over a possible purchase of the German national team-striker.
Though the 31-year-old himself remains on the fence, Sky Sports UK reports that London’s West Ham United are continuing to push for the acquisition of German national team striker Niclas Füllkrug. Online sports journal “the Athletic” claims that Borussia Dortmund rejected a €20 million offer for Füllkrug. The Sky report suggests the Hammers are willing to pay more.
Füllkrug still has plenty of suitors outside of German football and it remains unclear as to whether the veteran wishes to take his career to the Isle. Sky only claims that “progress” is being made in direct talks with the Hanover-native. Dortmund paid a reported €17 million to acquire Füllkrug from SV Werder Bremen last autumn.
