In a recent report from Football.london, it is believed that West Ham United midfielder Jarrod Bowen is attracting a lot of interest from Arsenal. It has also been mentioned that the Gunners have made contact with the English midfielder amid contract talks with the Hammers.

Bowen’s Impressive Campaign For West Ham United This Season

The 25-year-old has enjoyed a solid campaign and produced some impressive displays throughout the season under David Moyes. He has managed to score 18 goals and create 11 assists over 51 appearances for the Hammers across all competitions.

The England-born sensation has shown his class in the attacking end of the field by performing consistently, after averaging 2.2 shots, 1.1 key passes and 1.4 dribbles per game in the Premier League. He has also been decent with his ball distribution, as he has completed 76.2% of his attempted passes in the English top-flight (stats via whoscored).

Should West Ham United Boss David Moyes Cash In On Him?

Jarrod Bowen is an adept playmaker as he can make a few decent runs down the midfield and create opportunities for his teammates in the final third. He has contributed with his fair share of goals and can find the back of the net a couple of times with enough chances. Furthermore, he is primarily an attacking midfielder but remains versatile in playing as a striker or anywhere on the right flank.

The Hammers are focused on strengthening their attack and finding support for their number 9, and the attacking midfielder could prove to be a long-term solution. Bowen has impressed under David Moyes and has improved his game to establish himself as a key player. There is no doubt that the England international would be sold for a sizeable transfer fee but a move to Arsenal is highly unlikely to happen.

Moyes would never sanction a move to their rivals who are constantly competing with them at the top of the table. It would be wise of him to offer Bowen a contract renewal by meeting his demands if they wish to keep him at London Stadium next season, as he could definitely help West Ham rise to the top four.
