Niklas Schmidt moves from Werder Bremen to Toulouse.

Werder Bremen have confirmed the departure of Niklas Schmidt.
The central midfielder joins French Ligue 1 side Toulouse on a permanent basis.
“It was no secret that Toulouse were interested, we were open to a transfer and so was Niklas. The decision was måde in the last couple of hours,” said Werder Bremen’s head of professional football Clemens Fritz.
“Niklas has spent almost half of his life at Werder, has overcome difficult times and has become one of the heroes of our rise. We wish him all the best for the future,” he added.
