According to Bild, Werder Bremen have received an enquiry from Torino in Serie A for striker Marvin Ducksch.
The 29-year-old has a release clause in his contract worth €7.5 million, Torino are currently looking for a replacement for Antonio Sanabria who could leave the Italian side in the summer.
The striker’s current contract expires in 2024 after joining Bremen in 2021 from Hannover 96 for €4 million. Ducksch formed a strong partnership with Nicklas Füllkrug in helping them gain promotion from the 2.Bundesliga last season.
This season he has not reached the same goalscoring form but has scored eight times while assisting seven for Bremen in 26 games.
Ducksch’s striking partner, Füllkrug could also leave Bremen in the summer as he attracts interest from other Bundesliga clubs and English clubs.
Bremen are currently 11th in the Bundesliga but have only won once in their last six games against Bochum who are fighting relegation.
