RB Leipzig had to settle for a 0-0 draw in a tightly contested Bundesliga clash with Borussia Mönchengladbach at Borussia-Park on Friday night.
In light of how the match unfolded, Leipzig captain David Raum was satisfied with the point.
“When you look at the offside goal and the penalty situation for Gladbach, we’ll happily take the point. They’re in good form and playing here is always tough. We weren’t incisive enough and maybe a bit hesitant at times,” Raum said in a post-match interview.
The left-back nearly broke the deadlock for Leipzig late in the game, but his shot rattled the inside of the post.
“With my chance, I tried to be too precise – just a few centimetres missing. Shame, but maybe it goes in next time,” he said.
