Footage stemming from the training ground of La Liga giants Real Madrid has piqued attentions across the club’s fanbase early this week.
This comes after new head coach Xabi Alonso was spotted playing a hands-on role in not only the tactical side of the game, but the physical, too.
Tactician Alonso for his part oversaw his very first training session as Real Madrid manager on Monday morning.
As much comes after the Spaniard, last month, was unveiled as the man chosen to lead a new era at the Santiago Bernabéu, following the dismissal of Carlo Ancelotti.
And as alluded to above, with just a pair of appearances at Valdebebas under his belt, Alonso has already managed to spark excitement amongst those of a Blancos persuasion.
In footage to have surfaced online on Tuesday, the 43-year-old was spotted in the very thick of things, ‘getting his hands dirty’ with direct involvement in technical and tactical drills, as well as dishing out individual instructions to his players:
