Florian Neuhaus has slipped down the pecking order at Borussia-Park since the beginning of the season, starting just one of Borussia Mönchengladbach’s last 10 games.
Asked why the midfielder is currently starting, Gladbach sporting director Roland Virkus told Bild:
“I think it’s a pity. But football is a competitive sport and Flo has to get himself out of this situation.
“He has to perform now, that’s for sure,” he added.
Neuhaus, 26, signed a contract extension this summer, tying him to the Foals until 2027.
