As reported by Relevo, Villarreal and Eintracht Frankfurt have submitted offers for Las Palmas’ highly-rated attacking midfielder Alberto Moleiro.
Barcelona are interested in signing the 18-year-old but as things stand, one part of the club has given the green light to his arrival but another part believes it is not the right moment to sign the teenager.
García Pimienta, head coach of Las Palmas and former Barça player, has helped Barcelona consider the signing of the promising youngster, a Spain U19 international.
He made 38 appearances last season, 24 of them as a starter and scored three goals.
Catalan outlet Mundo Deportivo have previously reported that Manchester City and Wolves have shown interest in the player. Moleiro likes the Barcelona option but it is currently a long way off.
He has a contract with Las Palmas until 2023 and Barcelona would consider adopting the same strategy they used for the Pedri transfer, but they would not enter into any bidding war.
