It should have been an afternoon of celebration for Manchester United as they set up an all Manchester FA Cup final for the second consecutive season.
United were 3-0 up and cruising with 20 minutes left on the clock, but imploded as Coventry fought back to send the game to extra time thanks to Haji Wright’s stoppage time penalty.
The Sky Blues had the better of the game in extra time and thought they had pulled off one of the greatest comebacks in FA Cup history when Victor Torp scored in the dying seconds of extra time, but it was ruled out due to a marginal offside in the build up.
United would go on to win the penalty shootout, but once again their performance came in for heavy criticism.
United legend Keane ripped into the squad criticising a lack of character and claiming he’s at point where he dislikes most of the players at the club.
