VfB Stuttgart’s Karazor arrested on holiday in Ibiza

By Andrew Asher

On Saturday afternoon, VfB Stuttgart announced that midfielder Atakan Karazor had been arrested whilst on holiday in Ibiza.

In a very short statement from VfB, the club said “VfB is in constant contact with the player’s lawyers. Since this is an ongoing process, we ask for your understanding that VfB cannot comment further for the time being.”

The club did not divulge details of the reason behind the 25 year-old’s arrest but did say that “He [Karazor] denies any criminal act.”

Karazor joined Stuttgart from Holstein Kiel on July 1 2019 and has since made 69 appearances for the club.
