Valencia to appoint Gennaro Gattuso as manager until 2024

Gennaro Gattuso will become the next Valencia manager until 30 June 2024 in the coming days, according to Valencia-based journalist Héctor Gómez.

An agreement was reached in Singapore yesterday, the second meeting in two days, between Gattuso’s agent Jorge Mendes and Valencia’s maximum shareholder Peter Lim.

Gattuso also travelled to Singapore on Tuesday and met with Lim to finalise the deal. Gattuso was Lim and Mendes’ choice in 2019 to replace Marcelino García Toral, but the Italian decided against the move to Mestalla.
