Valencia star striker Hugo Duro is set to embark on his fourth season at the club, and is likely to be at the club for a while longer after he announced his renewal on Thursday afternoon.
The striker posted to his X account to announce the news, with a video revealing that he is set to remain with Valencia until at least 2028.
The 24-year-old has been one of Los Che’s more prominent players, having made 109 appearances for the club over the last three seasons, scoring 25 goals and getting six assists.
Before making the move to Valencia in 2021, he played his football in Madrid, with time spent both at Getafe and Real Madrid at various levels.
In his X post, Duro said: “I am very proud to continue on my path in this great club, with this great fan base and in the ‘terreta‘” (Nickname for the city).
Duro’s sights will now be set on getting back into action with Valencia, once the summer break comes to an end and with a new La Liga campaign right around the corner.
