As broken by Fabrizio Romano, Valencia and Tottenham are close to arriving at an agreement regarding the transfer of Bryan Gil.
Yesterday it was reported that the two clubs were set to enter a new round of discussions that could see the 21-year-old stay in La Liga and it appears as though a deal will be reached soon.
It is believed that Gil will join Valencia on loan until June 2023, with the Spanish side not having the option to purchase the player permanently.
The Spaniard arrived to Tottenham from Sevilla in the summer of 2021 for a fee of 25 million, with Erik Lamela also included in the deal. However, he failed to make and impact and spent the second half of last season on loan at Valencia, where he made 17 appearances.
He is expected to be Spurs’ second player to be loaned out to La Liga following the transfer of Giovani Lo Celso to Villarreal.
