Dayot Upamecano is reportedly expected to be out for four to six weeks.
Bayern Munich provided an injury update on Dayot Upamecano on Wednesday, revealing that the French defender suffered a muscle injury in his left hamstring during Sunday’s 3-0 win over Freiburg.
Sky Germany now reports that Upamecano faces a relatively lengthy spell on the sidelines, with the 24-year-old expected to be sidelined for four to six weeks.
This leaves the German champions vulnerable at the back, with Kim Min-jae and Matthijs de Ligt, who has only recently returned to training, the only other senior centre-backs in the squad.
Despite this, Bayern are not considering reversing their decision not to sign Jerome Boateng, according to Sky.
