Sky Germany and Polish news portal Meczyki report that newly promoted side Holstein Kiel are on the verge of signing Union Berlin’s Tymoteusz Puchacz.
Recently linked with a move to 1. FC Heidenheim, it appears as if Polish left fullback/wingback Tymoteusz Puchacz will be moving to Holstein Kiel instead. The newly promoted Bundesliga side have an acute need on the left-hand-side after the failure to retain Borussia Dortmund loanee Tom Rothe. Interestingly enough, it now appears as if Rothe might be headed to Puchacz’s parent club of 1. FC Union Berlin.
It looks to be the case that Puchacz – after three consecutive loan-outs – will be moving to Köpenick on a permanent basis. Sky Germany reports that talks over a purchase are at an advanced stage and that all parties involved have come to a verbal agreement. Puchacz recently completed a semi-successful loan stint with second division side 1. FC Kaiserslautern and is entering the final year of his contract with Union.
