Union Berlin are back in second place in the Bundesliga after a 2-1 comeback win over Werder Bremen away from home tonight.
Amos Pieper gave Werder the lead after 13 minutes before Union turned the game around thanks to goals from Janik Haberer and Kevin Behrens.
‘Die Eisernen’ are now three points behind Bayern and one point clear of third-placed RB Leipzig.
Elsewhere in the late kickoffs, Freiburg and Eintracht Frankfurt drew 1-1 in a close affair that saw Matthias Ginter cancel out Randal Kolo Muani’s opener.
Meanwhile, Leverkusen cruised to their fifth straight Bundesliga win, beating Bochum 2-0, while Augsburg defeated Gladbach 1-0 to climb out of the relegation zone.
