Having last played for VfB Stuttgart at the beginning of November due to an injury, Deniz Undav is now fit and eager to return to action.
The Germany international is targeting a return to the Stuttgart squad for Sunday’s Bundesliga clash with Augsburg.
“I am back in full training. If there are no more setbacks, I think I’ll be able to play in Augsburg,” Undav told Bild.
However, he doesn’t expect to be in the starting eleven.
“I don’t think so, because I was out for a long time. I think I’ll be on the bench for the time being,” said the striker, who has been back in full training since Tuesday.
Undav has scored seven goals in 16 appearances in all competitions for Stuttgart this season.
